We made 13 over a four year period in early 1990's. The Smallford company started in the '70s building tractor accessories, then moved into Fruit Harvesters. I maintained a number of these over the Midlands and South West while at H Roy Dorrell. When I started SFS the growers concerned asked me to continue with their machines. In 1988 I started Current Conversions and we redesigned the existing Hydrapick machines to boost efficiency. This lead to a run of new design machines sold in England, Scotland, Eire, Denmark and Canada.
